There are many reasons why important files may get lost, such as accidental deletion, malware attacks and drive reformatting.
The program supports practically any type of storage device, like hard disks, SSD, and USB drives. Moreover, it has the advantage of discovering even unmounted drives and allowing RAW data recovery. Good news is that you do not need to scan the whole drive, as it lets you select a more specific location. Just like other similar software, this tool performs two types of scan: quick and deep, which obviously differ in thoroughness and speed.
As the scan progresses, the results become gradually available. They are arranged by their location on the disk but it is also possible to apply file type filters. It is highly convenient that the tool lets you save a work session. This way, you can load it later and continue your work where you left it, thus saving you from repeating the scan.
It is a pity that the trial version does not allow actually recovering data. So, the only evidence of its effectiveness is by previewing the files, with the limitation that only simple text and images are supported. It is also too bad that, unlike other programs of its type, EaseUS Data Recovery cannot backup data, which would be more efficacious than attempting their recovery.
All in all, EaseUS Data Recovery works as its developers claim, although it does not excel among other similar products. It is sold in two editions: Pro and Technician. I suggest you try them before making a final decision.

Brilliant app!!
I have used this application when I lost my 100 GB data. It recovered about 90 percent of data but took more than 2 hours to scan my system.
